Lori Shirk:

Lori graduated Magna
Cum Laude from ASU,
earning a Bachelor’s in
Psychology and is
currently pursuing her
Doctorate in Clinical
Psychology. She was
also awarded a
Developmental
Care Solutions
Disabilities Specialist Certification from Glendale
Community College in 2002.
Lori has worked in the field of developmental
disabilities, applying behavior modification techniques
since June of 1999. She has been mentored by some of
the best board certified Behavior Analysts in Arizona
and worked with hundreds of children and young adults,
with a variety of disabilities. Her responsibilities have
included writing, implementing, and training staff and
families to run ABA home programs.
She has also worked as a behavioral health tech for a
residential treatment facility serving children who had
been severely abused and exhibited extreme behaviors.
In this role she received Therapeutic Crisis Intervention
(TCI) certification from Cornell University.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her five
beautiful nieces and nephews, reading a good novel and
spending time with her fiancé and their dog, Seiko.
