Marnie says she has been blessed to find her
passion working for people with cognitive,
physical, and mental health challenges since
1991. A native of Minnesota (Go Vikings!!),
she moved here in 1993. Marnie’s background
includes day programs, group homes and
home/community based services. She was
with the Division of Developmental
Disabilities from 2000 until September of 2008
in Support Coordination with her emphasis
on individually designed living arrangements.
Her passion within this field focuses on
empowerment, the rights of the people she
works for and true quality of life. She truly
believes that the people she works for are the
most courageous people she has ever met.
She has a degree from ASU in English, loves
to read, watch every MN Vikings football game
and spend time laughing with friends and
family…it’s too short not to laugh!
